About Sergeant Fifty-Five

Our Name

Since I was 13, I’ve always wanted to own a 1955 Chevy. In fact, I bought one when I was 15. It was a four-door fixer upper. I spent hours working on the car to restore it. Unfortunately, I had to let it go when I joined the Marines at age 17.

I served eight years as a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. My time there taught me common sense leadership skills that I use in our business each day.

My love for the auto never went away, and in October 2015 I found just the vehicle to restore my dream. You’ll see it parked in front of our office with its Veteran tags. The 55 Chevy is an American icon, a symbol of national pride.

I drive it everywhere and always hear comments from people I pass on the street. My friend Charles Johnson couldn’t believe the attention it got.

One day while riding in the 55 with him, he suggested a new company name to represent the American aesthetic of the car and honor the military people who have served and still serving. ‐ Sergeant 55.

Now we’re Sergeant 55 Insurance. We represent the values, hope and future of our country, our company and our clients.

About Me

About Randall

As your personal insurance agent, my goal is to protect you and your family from unexpected challenges. I’ve been in your shoes. I know life throws curve balls, and I work to ensure each client is ready when they come.

With over ten years of experience in the insurance, real estate and mortgage industries, I know the ins and outs of asset protection. I have hands-on expertise with real estate contracts, the home loan process, and specifics of underwriting – experience other insurance agents don’t have.

Whether you need to protect a home or business, I can help. As a licensed real estate broker in Texas, I have a thorough understanding of the relationship between a property’s market value and reconstruction costs.

Also licensed in property, casualty and life insurance, I know the best way to limit personal exposure and liability, at home, at work and on the road.

Details are my life. Eight years of service to our country as a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps Reserve taught me to pay attention to the most minute points, find solutions and not lose sight of the main objective.

As a result, I will work diligently to build the insurance plan that’s just right for you. As your advisor, I’ll work hand-in-hand with you to make sure you, your family and your business are protected.

My goals are the same as yours. Married for 10 years, I have two children, twin boys. Their security is my priority. Like you, I want the best for my family, so I know the importance of well-planned insurance and the protection it provides.

My mission is to help people, and this philosophy goes beyond insurance. I work with Habitat for Humanity to build homes for the less fortunate. I also volunteer through programs at my church, Grace Outreach Center.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Science from the College of Business Administration at Tarleton State University and an Associate of Arts degree from Weatherford College.

Call me today. I’m here to help you find the insurance policy that’s perfect for you, your business and your family. Randall Patterson (469) 214-4200 or email me at
